As a 501c3 public charity, there are several ways you can help the Yakutat History Foundation and Alaska Warbird Museum.
Obtaining and maintaining WWII era aircraft is an extremely costly endeavor. ALL money donated to the Alaska Warbird Museum is used solely for obtaining artifacts for the collection, maintaining and displaying these artifacts, or to advance our educational mission. All overhead and operating expenses are covered either directly by the membership, or sales through the museum-associated gift shop.
To tell a complete story of WWII, we need a wide variety of artifacts from the period, as well as items from the decades before and immediately following the war years.
One of the most valuable (and still tax deductable) donations one can make to the museum and/or foundation is the donation of volunteer time.
